Travel-Themed Stationery Set & Stickers

This post was most recently updated on February 8th, 2022

Interested in some fun travel-themed stationery? With email, texting, and video calls making communication instantaneous, ‘snail mail’ has become nearly obsolete. Sure, you send out Christmas cards each year or the occasional “thank you” using the postal service. But on a regular basis, how often do you reach for a pen and paper to write a physical note to a friend or family member?!

Inspiring you to send real mail!

travel-themed stationeryI know, I know. Life is busy. There’s just not enough time to write a letter. But, if you’re anything like me, you get the Christmas-day, butterflies-in-your-stomach, it’s-your-birthday jitters anytime you spy a handwritten card buried amidst all the ads, bills, and spam crammed in the mailbox. So, can you imagine how happy it makes others when they get REAL mail, too?

Ever since my childhood, sending and receiving snail mail was always my favorite! Even now, I love to make custom cards for birthdays and anniversaries because I know my art will brighten someone’s day when they open it. I love using my artistic skills to create things I can share with others, bringing a smile to their faces.

Postcards & Passports ogoThese travel-inspired designs were actually inspired by the writer of this blog, Tami from Postcards & Passports. Not only is she a very talented author and knowledgeable family travel planner, but I am fortunate to be able to call her my mom. She has instilled in me the love of travel which has helped my family prioritize exploring and going on fun adventures together, too!

Tami also embraces the idea of sending hand-written messages via ‘snail mail’. Some of her favorite items to mail are postcards from her travels. (Or travel-themed notecards!) If you’re interested in entering the giveaway for these cute, travel-themed designs, here are the details!

Even if you don’t win the grand prize, don’t fret. As readers of Postcards & Passports, you now have access to the PDF download to print the travel-themed stationery to your heart’s delight! I recommend printing on heavy cardstock, either with your home printer or at a local print shop. Then, simply cut the two cards apart with a paper trimmer, fold, and start writing; your family and friends will absolutely love getting some cheerful ‘snail mail’ from you!

Here’s a quick time lapse to see how easy the DIY stationery is to make—just print, trim, and fold!

Hope this fun giveaway and free printable help spread a little more kindness and creativity around the world…one ‘snail mail’ letter at a time! 💌

Now, the real question is…

Who will you send your first card to?

My favorite is the globe and the airplane! I’d definitely get my kids help send cards to family and friends. After moving across the country last year we have been using snail mail to keep in touch with friends the kids can send artwork and letters with almost no help from me, it’s awesome!

I like the floral Christ pictures. The Come Follow Me one is probably my favorite. I could find a reason to use any of your LDS themed artwork.
