Members of the US military have access to different discounts in much of the entertainment industry. Wherever you travel, you can find military discounts for cultural museums, theme parks, sports arenas, and much more. These discounts are available for veterans or current members of the US military. Military Discounts at Zoos and Aquariums
New York Aquarium:
Active service members and reservists get free general admission tickets. Up to three of your family members are granted a 50% discount on their tickets.
San Diego Zoo:
All active duty military service members, academy cadets, and reserves get free admission.
San Antonio Zoo:
Military personnel get a set price discount off their tickets.
SeaWorld:
You will be offered complimentary admission if you are an active duty, reservist or a member of the National Guard.
Virginia Zoo:
If you are active duty military personnel, you are entitled to a $1 discount off admissions fee.
Military Discounts at Museums
National Baseball Hall of Fame:
Active duty members and retired military personnel get free admission. Veterans are offered discounts.
Spy Museum:
Active duty military members receive a set discount off general admission ticket prices.
USS Midway Museum:
Active duty and reserve military personnel get free admission. Retired military personnel receive discounts on their admission charges.
Witte Museum:
A $1 off admission is extended to you if you are a member of the active duty military personnel.
Military Discounts for Golfing
Patuxent Greens Golf Club:
If you are a member of the active duty or retired military personnel, DoD civilian, current police, fire, and correctional officers, you are eligible to purchase an annual Hero Membership at a discounted rate.
PGA Tour:
You are granted free and discounted tickets if you are active duty personnel, veteran or a retiree.
Pinehurst:
Active duty and retired military receive a set discount on core packages and select spa therapies offered.
Sycuan Golf Resort
Active duty and retired military service members receive discounted rates on championship courses.
USGA:
Active duty and retirees receive complimentary and discounted tickets.
Virginia Beach National Golf Club:
As military personnel, you will be offered discounted greens fees.
Military Discounts for Sports
Philadelphia Phillies:
All military personnel, veterans, and their guest receive a set discount on regular tickets in a select location on select games.
San Diego Padres:
All military personnel and their family receive a 25% discount on select seats. Military members are also eligible for 50% off available tickets on Sunday regular season home games.
Seattle Mariners:
On presenting your military ID, you get a set discount off main, terrace and view level seats on all home games.
St. Louis Cardinals
All military personnel receive a special offer for all-inclusive tickets. This offer is extended to your family and friends.
Texas Rangers:
All military personnel receive discounted tickets in select seating areas.
Washington Nationals:
All military personnel and their dependents receive discounted tickets. Most tickets include food and beverage credit.
Military Discounts for Skiing
Sierra at Tahoe:
On Sundays, you will get free admission to skiing and riding if you are active duty military personnel.
Squaw Mountain:
Active military personnel are eligible to receive a discounted season pass.
Sugarloaf:
If you are military personnel, you and an immediate family member can get a $10 discount off lift tickets.
Winter Park:
Active and retired military members receive discounted prices on seasonal lift ticket packages.
Military Discounts at Amusement Parks
Universal Studios:
Active duty and retired military personnel are granted access to discounted vacation deals and packages.
Sesame Place:
Active duty, reservist, and National Guard service members are offered complimentary admission upon online verification of your Troop ID.
Six Flags Amusement Parks:
Military personnel receive a 20% discount on a single-day ticket.
Water Country USA:
If you are active duty reserve or a National Guard personnel, you will receive one complimentary admission per year for yourself and as many as three direct dependents.
Military Discounts at More Attractions
Pocono Raceway:
You receive a set discount on successful verification of your Troop ID.
Showcase Cinemas:
All active duty military personnel and their dependents get discounts at all locations with the exception of the Showcase SuperLux.
Ticket Monster:
Active duty and retired military personnel, veterans and their dependents get a 15% discount on all tickets.
Tough Mudder:
If you are active duty or a veteran, you can request a set rebate on your registration fee after participating and completing your Tough Mudder event.
World of Coca-Cola:
There are complimentary entry tickets for active duty, reserve, and retirees with regular rates applying to their family members or guests.
Yosemite National Park:
Active duty military personnel are offered a free annual pass. This is extended to your dependents with CAC or dependent ID.
Note:
You will always be required to prove that you are or were a member of the military personnel or one is depending on you. Keep your military ID and dependent IDs close to get these discounts.
