I feel like I haven’t offered a giveaway in ages, and right now is the time we could really use some more Freebies. So what am I giving away? A package of ten reversible, re-usable cloth face masks.
With the Coronavirus (or Covid-19) pandemic, using face masks has become an everyday occurrence for most of us. So this is what I’ve been doing for the last several weeks — sewing cloth face masks for friends, family, and health care workers. With the need to wear face masks in public spaces, the demand is higher than ever, and this was just one way I could give back.
Why would you want one of these cloth face masks?
Well, they’re made of 100% pre-washed cotton so they’re breathable. Plus they can be washed again and again. If you have two of them, you’ll always have one ready to wear when the other is in the laundry.
The other thing that is nice about these face masks is that they are reversible. You can wear them with whichever fabric pattern you prefer showing. And you can remember which side you were wearing towards your face when you take it off and put it back on again.
And finally, they’re easy to put on. Simply put the ear loops over your ears and go. Bonus: One of the ten masks has soft fleece ties for a custom fit.
Disclaimer: these are not N95 masks, and they do not have filters. They are not medical-grade and cannot prevent you from contracting the Covid-19 virus, but they can help keep you from giving it to others.

What if you need cloth face masks and you don’t win?
I’m not selling face masks, so don’t worry — this is not a sales pitch. I’ll tell you how I learned how to make them myself, and maybe you’ll want to go that option. I learned from this YouTube tutorial:
Hope you’re the one who wins the ten free face masks, but if not, you can also buy them at this Etsy shop (I have no affilliation with this shop, but they are like mine and are affordable).
Best of luck to you! If you’d be interested in my article about the silver lining to the Coronavirus pandemic, click here.
